Please join the North Alabama Freethought Association (NAFA) every Sunday at Bruegger's Bagel in Madison starting at 10 a.m.

The Madison Bagel Social allows members another opportunity to get together with like-minded individuals. Share Sunday morning with Freethinkers amid coffee, comics, conversation, coupons and crossword puzzles.

Bruegger's Bagel is located at 347 Hughes Rd. in Madison (northeast quadrant of the intersection of Hughes Rd. and Old Madison Pike, next to Texaco).

WHAT: NAFA Monthly Picnic

WHEN: The last Sunday of each month from March to October beginning at noon.

WHERE: Monte Sano State Park Picnic Area

INFO: Join the North Alabama Freethought Association (NAFA) for our regularly scheduled picnics from Spring to Autumn on the last Sunday of each month at noon. Monte Sano offers a playground for the kids, trails for all levels of hikers, and lots more.

Picnickers need to bring their own food and drinks. You may also want to bring your favorite fold-out chair if you do not want to sit on a hard bench the entire time. Come and join NAFA for friendship and great conversation.

This is a family-friendly event so please feel free to bring your children. You can also bring balls, Frisbees, or other similar items as there is a large field close to the picnic area.

As you enter the picnic area parking lot, NAFA will be at one of the picnic tables adjacent to the parking lot. Just look for the white NAFA yard sign!

Please be advised that Monte Sano has an entrance fee. A guard may be on duty at the entrance. If not, there is an honor box where you can pay the entry fee of $3/adult and $2/children and seniors. For more information about Monte Sano please go to: Monte Sano SP.

INFO: If you live in Northeast Huntsville (the 35811 area code), come out and enjoy coffee and conversation with fellow area Freethinkers. Of course, if you don't live in Northeast Huntsville you can come and join us as well!

This will be our first one to see how it goes. If there is enough interest then we'll see about making it a regular event.

FRCC has free WiFi! They close at 8 p.m.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-565 East to US-72 East. Turn left at the first light onto Moore's Mill Road. Go about two miles and turn right at the Chevron onto Winchester Roard. Go about one mile and Flint River Coffee will be on your left just after Redstone Federal Credit Union.

INFO: Please join the North Alabama Freethought Association (NAFA) every Saturday from 9-11 AM for our regular Saturday Coffee Social. We meet at Angel's Island Coffee. Angel's has WiFi available for those that want to bring their laptops. Many times NAFA members head out for lunch together after the Coffee Social.

From the I-565 take US-231 South (Memorial Parkway).
Once the controlled access ends you will pass the Radisson & Hampton Inn hotels on your right.
