Description:
WHAT: Join your fellow NAFA clean-up crew for our fourth adopt-a-mile cleanup on Saturday, 26 June, starting 8:00 AM!
NAFA has adopted the 1 mile stretch of Whitesburg Drive, starting from the south end where it joins the Memoiral Parkway, north to Byrd Spring Road.

WHEN: 26 June 2010, 8 AM

Here's the job:
We have a dozen can-grabbers, safety vests, gloves, (1st come, 1st served) and plenty of trash bags provided by the city's Operation Green Team. We will meet up at 8300 Whitesburg, a mostly empty office park on the west side of the road, just south of Lilly Flagg Rd. This is roughly at the mid point of our section. We clean up both sides of the road, and leave the trash at the curb as we go. We will split up into teams, depending on numbers, and cover the area quickly.

DIRECTIONS: Take the parkway south from downtown Huntsville, turn left at Lily Flagg Road. Turn right at the next light, and 8300 Whitesburg is a short distance, on your right.

In case of poor weather, we will re-schedule.

INFO: Please join the North Alabama Freethought Association (NAFA) every Saturday from 9-11 AM for our regular Saturday Coffee Social. We meet at Angel's Island Coffee. Angel's has WiFi available for those that want to bring their laptops. Many times NAFA members head out for lunch together after the Coffee Social.

DIRECTIONS:
From the I-565 take US-231 South (Memorial Parkway).
Once the controlled access ends you will pass the Radisson & Hampton Inn hotels on your right.
Keep watching on your right for Donato's Pizza .
The building after Donato's Pizza is Angel's Island Coffee.
The building is orange and teal.
If you pass Byrd Spring Road you missed Angel's Island Coffee.
